Oughtrington Community Orchard

Processed with VSCO with a1 preset

Oughtrington Community Orchard is one of the last remaining old orchards in the area.  It can be accessed through the rear of Oughtrington Community Centre car park. Back in 2005 a working group took the opportunity to start looking after the orchard and to enjoy it.

The Oughtrington Community Orchard project aims to restore and maintain the rectory orchard as a community orchard to provide an amenity for local residents and users of the community centre.

(The access gate from the canal bank is normally kept locked in line with our agreement with the Bridgewater Canal Company – please contact us if you require the gate to be unlocked)
