Heating controls in the ‘extension’

With the colder weather we’ve realised that the heating controls in the OCC extension (the lobby areas, toilets and meeting room) were really not happy – these controls were put in around 15 years ago and were becoming problematic. Spare parts were no longer available so we’ve updated the controls (the OCC extension has underfloor heating to each room / area).

We are still tuning the new controls and we are learning a lot about the building fabric and some contents that are really good at attenuating the wireless signal between room thermostats and controller, but we are mostly there…

Apologies to those who have endured uncomfortable temperatures over the last few weeks. Please let us know of any further issues (don’t assume we know!!)

(for information, the main hall and the pre-school rooms are on separate heating systems and controls).
