Over the past few weeks Tom and his team from Warrington based Specialist Lighting Services have been updating our Emergency Lighting – replacing faulty units and adding new ones where needed to bring the Community Centre fully up to date with Emergency Lighting regulations.

Hirers, users and visitors to the community centre should notice new “Running Person” signs over every emergency exit doors – lighting your way out of the building in an emergency.

We hope these are never used (though we will be testing regularly), but if needed these battery powered emergency flood lights and bulkhead lights will come on (and stay on through battery power), making sure everyone in the centre can see and safely find the exit doors.
